Now you no longer need a PC or Mac in order to download content for your AppleTV it now supports it via a software upgrade, you can rent and buy content direct from the AppleTV interface, it also comes in at a lower price point now $229 instead of the previous $299. Existing AppleTV users can download the update for free within the next two weeks. Films can be rented in either DVD quality or HD + 5.1 Surround Sound.              |
