New York Times Columnist and author of "The Missing Manual" series David Progue was able to interview Steve Jobs at the Macworld Expo, after his keynote presentation.

Jobs revealed that the design team at apple went through about 100 prototype designs when creating the Macbook Air, and himself and Ives weren't sure if they could even fit a computer into the form factor they decided on.

Jobs then goes on to discuss, the Amazon Kindle and how its a flawed idea as, no body reads any more, which I personally think is wrong, he states 40% of Americans don't read more than one book a year, so there is still 60% who do, and then theres the rest of the world, okay yes I know the kindle isn't available outside the USA, but if Amazon was to release the Kindle outside the USA I would personally buy one, as it seems like a good idea.

He spoke about Googles Android platform, which Jobs believes will not catch on as it take alot of work to produce a Mobile Phone platform, sort reminiscent of the Palm CEO's claims when Apple unveiled the iPhone.
